Preston Lacemakers are a friendly group of people who meet to share their enthusiasm and enjoyment in the art and craft of lace, in all its variations. Our group includes young and old and beginners to experienced. Throughout the year we have talks about and workshops in both lace and other craft techniques. We also promote lace through exhibitions and giving demonstrations.

Next Meeting: 1 August 2015 Members' Work Display

It was lovely to see so many members at the last meeting when we had an informative and entertaining talk from Pauline of Polly Jane Yarns.  Members also took the opportunity to purchase some lovely yarns in a range of beautiful colours, patterns and other accessories.

Our next meeting takes place on Saturday, 1 August 2015.  Members are asked to bring pieces of their work for a display.  The theme is 'The type of lace I like making most'.  Please bring a note of your name to show alongside your lace and, if you can, a description of why you like the type of lace you're displaying.

Non-members are welcome to come along as guests, see what we do and join in the chatter.  Bring your lace along if you already make lace.
