Preston Lacemakers are a friendly group of people who meet to share their enthusiasm and enjoyment in the art and craft of lace, in all its variations. Our group includes men and women, young and old, beginners to experienced. Throughout the year we have workshops in both lace and other craft techniques. We also promote lace through exhibitions and giving demonstrations.

What you need to know........

Preston Lacemakers meet on the FIRST Saturday of the month, 10 am - 4 pm, in the Church Hall of the United Reformed Church, Liverpool Road, Penwortham, Preston,
PR1 0QB.

Annual membership fee:
   Adults                                   £15.00
   Young lacemakers (under 16)   £1.00

  Adults £1 (for up to 3 meetings)
  under 16 years old free (for up to 3 meetings)

Kettles, milk, tea and coffee are provided for members to make themselves a drink. Biscuits are also provided.  The church kitchen is also available for members’ use.   Members usually bring a packed lunch, but if you forget, there are shops very near the church hall.

The group have many lace books, DVDs and videos available for members to borrow.
